The number of children needing food each weekend is finite. This is a weekly ministry, working in conjunction with the Rio Rancho Public School District, to collect, organize and distribute non- perishable foods to children in the Rio Rancho area who otherwise do not have food over the weekends. Feed NM Kids is a ministry of New Mexico Prays. New Mexico Prays is a movement of churches covering New Mexico in 24/7
prayer and is a part of the America Prays network, a cross-denominational, multi-ethnic, Jesus-centered prayer movement.

New Mexico is number one in the nation for percent of children living in homes with insufficient food supply. We believe that we, as the body of Christ, can change that.
Schools ensure that all kids are fed during the week, but too many kids go through an entire weekend with little to no food. In a combined effort with Title 1,
we are supplying children with non-perishable, snack-able food items for them to take home and eat on the weekends.
To participate, simply bring snack-able foods such as beef jerky, nuts, fruit cups, granola bars, tuna pouches, etc.
