Own The Vision
There is a gap between where we are as Church and where we see ourselves in our biggest goals. This gap can seem insurmountable, overwhelming, and even impossible. But here’s the thing: God gives the Church a unique message to share or a difficult problem to solve, and we just need a simple push in the right direction!
Also, every individual has a vision. A vision is simply a picture of what the future could look like. Your personal vision should start with a burden to accomplish God’s purposes and plans for your life. You must be clear about what you are trying to accomplish. If you aim for nothing, you’ll hit it every time. Aim for something...aim for Christ!
A large part of success is putting in the time each and every day. It comes from facing down challenges, putting in the work and keeping up with the daily grind. You can gain a lot from a consistent effort that you can’t get any other way.
1. Make the vision or goal CLEAR - Write it down. It’s important. And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it." Hab. 2:2 Create something you can run with that is visible.
2. Understand there will be challenges - When you face challenges, it’s important that you divide and conquer. Figure out what you can do and what only God can do.
3. God will call us to do things for His glory that are risky. Life is full of risk. Relationships are risky. Giving is risky. Take a risk but know that God is always a for sure thing!
